mm, It’s not a short novel but one of my favorite books is Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami. It’s really my ultimate favorite read of this year. He’s kind of a Japanese version of J.D. Salinger. Speaking of JD Salinger I love his short novel Franny and Zooey. There’s also this book called Fade by Robert Cormie that really, really freaked me out when I was done reading it. I couldn’t even sleep- it’s not a horror book or anything, but it’s just so realistic that it haunts you. I could recommend you hundreds of books, but you have to be a little more specific on what kind of genre you like.
